Autodesk AutoCAD 2022 New Features
In previous posts, we have shared new features of Revit 2022 for the different Engineering disciplines (Architectural, Structural and M&E). So of course we should not forget the 2D Modeling tool which helped many of us automated our design drawings from paper to digital in the earlier days before 3D Modeling tools was launched.
Today, we will be sharing the new features of Autodesk AutoCAD 2022.
AutoCAD® is computer-aided design (CAD) software that is widely used by the architects, engineers, interior designers and construction professionals to create precise 2D and 3D drawings.
Trace: This is an alternative method of collaborating with other project team members to send notification of essential modifications or rework to a drawing. It allow users to safely review and add feedback directly to a DWG file without altering the existing drawing.
Count: With this block counter, counting the number of Blocks within a drawing is very quick and at the same time, it provides some additional functionality as well. Now you can automate counting blocks or geometry easily with the COUNT command.
Share: Working remotely is the new normal. You can now send a controlled copy of your drawing to teammates and colleagues to access wherever they are!
Push to Autodesk Docs: Push your CAD drawing sheets as PDFs to Autodesk Docs from AutoCAD for easy access and management.
Floating windows: Now, you can open multiple drawings which are needed to be viewed simultaneously or for cross referencing purpose, easily with the floating window function. Pull away drawing windows to display side by side or on multiple monitors, in the same instance of AutoCAD.
- Performance enhancements: Experience faster performance, including when plotting and for 3D graphics.
